After surgery you are going to experience a new level of cold 🤣. I’ve always been quite cold at night but after surgery I slept in winter pyjamas with a onesie, a pair of hiking socks, a pair of socks called heat holders specifically designed to hold in body heat. I slept in a thick dressing gown with a beanie, a scarf, with my electric blanket on three, a duvet, a blanket and my dog snuggled up next to me.

Whenever I got home from work after having my heater also on full blast, I put another pair of pants and a hoodie on. Whenever I left the house, I was wearing a full length coat with a jacket underneath and a scarf and I will still kind of cold. I went for a walk with my mum to walk the dogs and while she was walking in shorts and a top I was walking around in track pants with a ski jacket.
When you lose all your insulation you feel temperature. Summers are gonna become your best friend and it is absolutely wonderful. Even if I go to gym, I sweat minimally. If for whatever reason I forget to put on deodorant it doesn’t matter because even if I do sweat it doesn’t smell. I used to hate the heat, anything above 25 would kill me. I used to sit with my Aircon on in winter, I couldn’t tolerate heat at all. Now I rather like the heat 🤣
